If the battery you are inspecting fails any of those tests, you will have to disassemble the battery down to the cell groups so that you can find out which cell group’s voltage is out of spec. If you find a bad cell group, you will have to break down the battery pack and replace the cell group with cells that match the others in the battery pack as much as possible.
If you still only get a red flashing light and the battery won't charge, boost the battery some more. I find the battery charger will recognize that the battery is good again when you boost it to between 10 and 14 volts.
Don’t get stranded. Simply keeping a battery charger unit in your trunk can save you from a dicey situation. With this type of charger, you don’t need another car to help you recharge the battery. Simply hook it up and charge up the battery, then get back on the road.

I bought new battery for my acer 4737.but they gave me 4710 battery telling these are same.Now it is Charging fully.But when i running through battery it suddenly off even in 95%.Is it battery fault or my lap? please help me.
I think both approaches have their respective pros and cons but I would prefer the torch down approach in a school environment.
If you have a 12V battery that has low voltage (3-6V) the charger may not work directly. For complex reasons, you have to provide a lot more current in a battery that has been deeply discharged. So what you can do is use booster cables and connect the low battery to the good battery. (positive-to-positive, negative-to-negative) Leave them connected for a couple minutes. If your good battery is in a car, leave the car OFF.
Think about it. How many times have you gotten in an ultra-hot car and had to open the door, window, etc just so you can breathe for those few hot seconds. Leaving a lithium-ion battery in that condition is very bad for the battery and can cause a totally unexpected fire in the right (wrong) conditions.
