After a couple minutes, connect the charger to the low battery and set it to the *repair* mode. Let it charge for a few minutes, and then remove the booster cables. If the charger keeps going, let it run. If the charger turns off, connect the booster cables again. Usually within 5 minutes you should be able to disconnect the booster cables.
if your battery is old and was allready few time recalibrated, may show in tray 90-100%,but not disigh capasity.its a last full charge capacity.check it with BATTERYCARE tools and when full charge capasity is less 30% then disign capasity i recomended change battery!

What is battery repair mode? 12V Repair is an advanced battery recovery mode for repairing and restoring, old, idle, damaged, stratified or sulfated batteries. Not all batteries can be recovered. Batteries tend to become damaged if kept at a low charge and/or never given the opportunity to receive a full charge. When should I use battery charger in repair mode? If your battery voltage is significantly lower than the standard voltage, you may consider repairing the battery with the 12V Super Repair Mode. For example, the Sigma battery charger detects that the voltage of a 12V battery is 5V. What does repair mode on a charger do? 12V Repair is an advanced battery recovery mode for repairing and desulfating old, idle, damaged, stratified or sulfated batteries. So at what percentage should you charge your phone? The best practice for preserving phone battery health is to plug it in at around 20% and charge it up to 80-90%. This is especially important if you use fast charging, as charging from 0% will cause a lot of heat, and from 80% up, fast charging becomes less efficient. At what percentage should you charge your battery? So here's a handy rule: Don't start charging until your battery reaches about 20 percent — and try to stop when you get to about 80 percent. This will make sure you maximize each cycle while keeping the battery free of stress. (Keep reading for details on how some smart devices such as iPhones manage this for you.) How long does it take to fix an AGM battery? This generally takes less than two hours with a 10-amp charger.” If it has, disconnect everything and reconnect the (formerly deeply discharged) AGM battery directly to the charger. Treat it like you would any car battery at this point, as Optima suggests, “in most cases, the AGM battery will be recovered.” How do you Desulfate a deep cycle battery? Cycle (discharge to 50% and recharge) the battery a couple of times and test its capacity. You might have to increase the voltage in order to break down the hard lead sulfate crystals. If the battery gets above 125° F (51.7° C) then stop charging and allow the battery to cool down before continuing. How do you fix a sulfated car battery? Reversible sulfation can often be corrected by applying an overcharge to an already fully charged battery in the form of a regulated current of about 200mA. The battery terminal voltage is allowed to rise to between 2.50 and 2.66V/cell (15 and 16V on a 12V mono block) for about 24 hours. What are the three failure modes? Examples of failure modes are: Ductile fracture. Brittle fracture. Fatigue fracture. Can you drive with charging system malfunction? Driving with your battery/check charging system light illuminated could leave you stranded. If your vehicle has a failing battery, faulty alternator or bad wiring, it could stop working at any time. Make an appointment with your mechanic before your car puts you on the side of the road. Can I drive with charging system failure? Can a bad battery cause charging system failure? That said if the battery is dead you could still drive until the vehicle is turned off, though some electrical components might stop working properly. How do I get out of repair mode? Visitors of BatteryUniversity.com frequently ask: “Can NiCd can be replaced with NiMH?” In theory, this should be possible as both chemistries have the same cell voltage, but full-charge detection and trickle charge are the issues. NiMH uses a more refined charge algorithm than NiCd(See BU-408: Charging Nickel-metal-hydride) A modern NiMH charger can charge both NiMH and NiCd; the old NiCd charger could overcharge NiMH by not properly detecting the full-charge state and applying a trickle charge that is too high. Each chemistry requires its own charger.
Description: it is required to pour water through holes of battery during reconditioning.
