I had a relatively new battery in a car that died. The battery (and car) sat for a year, got sulfated and wouldn’t charge. I used a bottle of INOX Battery Conditioner which you can get at many auto shops for about $10. Charged up the battery and it’s still good. As I understand it, the INOX breaks down the sulfides and they go back into solution.

Hi battery doctor, I bought a car battery 38Ah for my Nissan Cube and used for 7 months and there after parcked it after noticing a knockin sound. Hi I replaced my laptops battery cells. Now when I connect the battery to laptop it says fully charged but when I unplug the AC adaptor the laptop shuts down imidiately like I have no battery on it. I checked all connections and all it's fine. The plus and minus terminals of the battery have zero volts but the cells have 11.5 volts. I use the resistor to activate the solid-state switch but with no luck. I have to mention that I replaced the cells without keeping "alive" the circuit board. Why is this happening? Is there any way to bypass the board? thanks
