Hi I replaced my laptops battery cells. Now when I connect the battery to laptop it says fully charged but when I unplug the AC adaptor the laptop shuts down imidiately like I have no battery on it. I checked all connections and all it's fine. The plus and minus terminals of the battery have zero volts but the cells have 11.5 volts. I use the resistor to activate the solid-state switch but with no luck. I have to mention that I replaced the cells without keeping "alive" the circuit board. Why is this happening? I purchased a replacement battery for Acer S3 391. Battery model isAP11D3F, AP11D4F. Battery was charged very slowly, but was able to be charged to 100% after 24 hours. But the battery is not able to start the laptop without external power supply plugged in. When unplugged the external power supply, the machine turned off instantly. Voltmeter cannot detect any voltatge output from the battery connectors. "Powercfg -energy" report shows no problem about the battery. Please help.

My question, which terminal is the switch one ? If I connect to ground through 100 ohms any terminal, do I risk to damage the computer ? What should I do ?
