If a relatively new pack has only one defective cell and a replacement is located, exchanging the affected cell makes sense. With an aged battery, however, it’s best to replace all cells. Mixing new with old causes a cell mismatch that has a short life. In a well-matched battery pack all cells have similar capacities. An anomaly is a chain in which the weakest link determines the performance of the battery(See BU-302: Serial and Parallel Battery Configurations)
If you charge your battery faster than what it is rated for, it will damage the cells and increase their internal resistance. A higher internal resistance produces more of a voltage drop which hurts performance. Also, a higher resistance makes a battery produce more heat for a given charge and discharge current.

Yes. A lithium-ion battery pack that has one or more bad cells can be extremely dangerous, especially if it's put under a heavy load. Battery packs are made from many lithium-ion cells.

You. Are. Amazing. I would absolutely propose marriage if I wasn’t already engaged 🤭🤗🥴 I’ve been cursing ryobi alllll weekend whilst throwing random tantrums as I bang my foot on scattered about salvaged pieces of wood that should be on my bare walls holding my things (that are also on the floor and are not floor things at all whatsoever!) haha 😂
Please direct marriage proposals to my publicist. A certain tool company is *not* interested in proposing marriage to me. So I'd like to make a point of saying I love these tools and use them all the time. Their batteries and chargers on the other hand, could use some improvement.
