Hi I replaced my laptops battery cells. Now when I connect the battery to laptop it says fully charged but when I unplug the AC adaptor the laptop shuts down imidiately like I have no battery on it. I checked all connections and all it's fine. The plus and minus terminals of the battery have zero volts but the cells have 11.5 volts. I use the resistor to activate the solid-state switch but with no luck. I have to mention that I replaced the cells without keeping "alive" the circuit board. Why is this happening? Is there any way to bypass the board? thanks

Establishing the connection to the battery terminals should now enable charging. If the charge current stops after 30 seconds, an activation code may be required. Some battery manufacturers add an end-of-battery-life switch that turns the battery off when reaching a certain age or cycle count. They argue that customer satisfaction and safety can only be guaranteed by regularly replacing the battery. Mind you, such a policy also rotates inventory.
If the battery is fully discharged ( like if something stayed on overnight) your battery charger may not work. If so, and you can’t connect directly to another car’s battery, you can remove the dead battery, take it to the other car, and jumper it there. After about 5 minutes, remove the jumper cables and the charger should work.

Please tell me what type of battery can replace mine, from a Toshiba laptop. I guess is an obsolete type because I do not see it in any catalog. The code is: PA3399V-1BRS Li-ion 10.8 V 6600mAh Thank you a lot.
Any advice or idea where to get extra tabs, while I build the new battery, besides those that are attached to the cells and others that i sav from the old battery. thanks

I need Vaio E series laptop charger circuit, which has 220v I/P and 19.5V O/P wtih 3.9A at 50-60 HZ....
The much larger point is, if you had even a basic comprehension on how rechargable battery backs work you would never find yourself in this situation. Its really not complicated. just remember like 3 basic things
Thing they don't mention tho is that even if your jump is successful the capacity of the battery will forever be trash. You'll be lucky if you 2Ah battery is now a 0.5Ah. might a couple minutes out of your reanimated battery pack before it has to go back on the charger.
Step 3: After that, use a multimeter to check each cell group’s voltage to find the bad cells. If you find a cell lower than 2.5V it is more than likely bad and if you find a cell higher than 4.2 volts, it could be dangerous.
Great service! Came to my house, worked around my schedule, and did a great job. Replaced my screen and battery and now my iphone’s like new again. All for less than Apple would charge. The tech was very friendly and went out of his way to help. What more could you ask for?
