You have to pull it apart. you need to pulse it at a point before the circuit board. the charger clips are after. I just did 3 batteries each for about 1 minute they all revived. I did see a version where someone drilled thru the case at a point where the contacts are rather than dissemble. but I think that would expose the system to moisture.

One of the best cars on the earth, hybrid cars has two main components to consider-an electric motor and the battery. The battery generally lasts up to 200,000 miles. Although it usually lasts longer than warranty period, the old battery eventually goes stale, and each new battery costs around 3000$. One thing to remember: all batteries contain modules, and although the quantity may vary, the core principle stays intact. The factories simply replace modules and sell them as brand new! And that’s where you play your part. It takes around 700$ to fi x damaged module, and your battery’s life is extended for another 6-7 years. You should also note that a reconditioned battery has output 70% of the brand new battery output, which is more than enough. First remove the battery followed by rubber which protects the caps. Remove all the caps of the battery. Don’t keep any cap on. Don’t put the caps back. Charge the battery for about an hour, and you will see the bubbles on the holes. However, if there are no bubbles, reverse the positive and negative wires. Wait for about 2-3 minutes. You can now see the bubbles. Revert the wires back to the original position and recharge the battery for additional half an hour. If required, you can also replace the acid inside the battery while mixing new acid with distilled water. Later on, recharge the battery for a few hours, and you get a battery which lasts for a long time.

Also to note, most "old" cell phone chargers are probably 6 volts or less, so not enough to bring the dead cell back up to sufficent voltage for the Ryobi charger to recognize it.

I purchased a replacement battery for Acer S3 391. Battery model isAP11D3F, AP11D4F. Battery was charged very slowly, but was able to be charged to 100% after 24 hours. But the battery is not able to start the laptop without external power supply plugged in. When unplugged the external power supply, the machine turned off instantly. Voltmeter cannot detect any voltatge output from the battery connectors. "Powercfg -energy" report shows no problem about the battery. Please help.

If you charge your battery faster than what it is rated for, it will damage the cells and increase their internal resistance. A higher internal resistance produces more of a voltage drop which hurts performance. Also, a higher resistance makes a battery produce more heat for a given charge and discharge current.
