Hi, This was a great article. I had disconnected my Dell Studio 1535 battery circuit from the battery for a whole day and now its not working. I was hoping you can tell me which 'Ground' connection to give the 100 ohm resistor ? Should I connect one end of the resistor to the 'Ground' of the Dell circuit mentioned on this website, while keeping the voltmeter connected to the circuit as well ? Hi, I have a laptop battery which is suspect. However, I am not sure whether it is a problem with the cells or a problem with the way the laptop is charging the battery. I have opened up the battery. It is organised into three pairs of cells. Each pair is connected in parallel. I don't want to disconnect the cells from the battery circuit board, so I was wondering if I can connect my 18650 battery charger and charge (in place), each pair of batteries in turn?

I purchased a replacement battery for Acer S3 391. Battery model isAP11D3F, AP11D4F. Battery was charged very slowly, but was able to be charged to 100% after 24 hours. But the battery is not able to start the laptop without external power supply plugged in. When unplugged the external power supply, the machine turned off instantly. Voltmeter cannot detect any voltatge output from the battery connectors. "Powercfg -energy" report shows no problem about the battery. Please help.
