I have replaced the PS for my daughter's Gateway MX-6436 LT, and the MB, as it sometimes charges the battery, sometimes it doesn't. Hi, I have a laptop battery which is suspect. However, I am not sure whether it is a problem with the cells or a problem with the way the laptop is charging the battery. I have opened up the battery. It is organised into three pairs of cells. Each pair is connected in parallel.
