Nick I think you're misunderstanding. It isn't that the battery isn't good, it's the the charger isn't recognizing it. I did these batteries years ago and they're still working just fine. Do they stay charged as long as a new battery? No. They never do. But they still work and complete jobs. ~ karen! Spot-welding a cell is the only reliable way to get dependable connection and four spot-welds per cell is the norm. Limit the heat transfer to the cells during welding to prevent damage. Insulate each cell electrically as the cell housing is “hot” and carries a voltage. If the new cell is at different charge level than the existing ones, apply a slow charge to bring them all to the same level. Observe the temperature during charge. Nickel-based cells will warm up towards the end of charge but must cool down on ready; Li-ion should stay cool during charge. The rise in temperature should be equal for all cells; unevenness hints to an anomaly.

Once the iPhone X has been opened, no warranty can be given for waterproofness. Also the warranty for protection against dust and splashing water of the IP67 classification expires. Place the suction cup on the bottom edge of your device and pull it upwards to create a narrow gap between the stainless steel and display frame. Insert a sturdy, flat tool into the narrow gap to enlarge it. At the same time, press the display slightly upwards with the tool, using flat plastic picks. Be careful not to go further than 5 mm into the gap with your tool to avoid damaging any components inside the Iphone X. Be careful when you treat the battery cells. The deposits have to dissolved from the battery rods, and it’s not easy. Distilled water can enhance the procedure. You should use a mixture of Epsom Salt and distilled water for above.
