I have replaced the PS for my daughter's Gateway MX-6436 LT, and the MB, as it sometimes charges the battery, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes it runs with the battery out and the PS in, and sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes it indicates charging, and sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes it turns off after 30 min as the power meter indicates a low charge, but won't charge with either PS. I feel I am chasing a ghost. Does anyone have any ideas?
