Is this the case, or a bug? < > I am not talking about breaking down. I am talking about actual damage, i.e. hit point loss. It is a known bug. You have to reinstall the battery elsewhere or reload your game to be able to repair it. As noted before, it is a bug. However, thx for mentioning it for others. The work around I found for this is to ask your colonists uninstall and reinstall the battery. I just move the battery a tile over, and they seem to repair it automatically after moving.
