I re-celled a laptop battery with 4 cells. After completion, I turned on the laptop but it didn't power up! The laptop does turn on with AC Adapter plugged in, but if I unplug the charger, the laptop shuts down, as if the the battery has been removed. System (Windows 8) shows that the battery has been charged [Plugged in, charging 100%] but the battery doesn't power the laptop! Why? Help!

I have a question. My laptop Battery deign capacity is 3894mAh. At present,my battery full charge capacity is 1552mAh. Is this battery is harmful for my laptop if I use my laptop all time with battery with AC power?

Hi battery doctor, I bought a car battery 38Ah for my Nissan Cube and used for 7 months and there after parcked it after noticing a knockin sound. Later after 4 months, I have attended to the knocking sound but now the battery is not holding the charge. I have just noticed the battery acid is a little below the cells level. Do I need to just add distilled water or follow your dead battery reconditioning process, or if better still, drain the battery and refill with fresh battery acid? My Asus eeepc 1015cx battery starts charging and stops charging and again the incident repeats frequently when connected to laptop adapter. Charging indicator blinks frequently winthin a milisecond. Hi I have Samsung Series 9 ultrabook NP900 X3B A01UK. This ran out of charge and the light on the charger was not on. I replaced the charger with an originL Samsung unit the laptop powered up however the charger appeared to fail immediately and the laptop shut down. On unplugging the charger it was quite warm and again the power light is not on even though the fuse has not blown. It appears something in the laptop is causing the charger to fail.
