Hi, This was a great article. I had disconnected my Dell Studio 1535 battery circuit from the battery for a whole day and now its not working. I was hoping you can tell me which 'Ground' connection to give the 100 ohm resistor ? Should I connect one end of the resistor to the 'Ground' of the Dell circuit mentioned on this website, while keeping the voltmeter connected to the circuit as well ? I fear an actvation code is required. Thank you, Nooman Mufti

Hi battery doctor, I bought a car battery 38Ah for my Nissan Cube and used for 7 months and there after parcked it after noticing a knockin sound. Later after 4 months, I have attended to the knocking sound but now the battery is not holding the charge. I have just noticed the battery acid is a little below the cells level. Do I need to just add distilled water or follow your dead battery reconditioning process, or if better still, drain the battery and refill with fresh battery acid? Please help and thank you most sincerely in advance.
The cost to recondition car batteries is minimal. You don’t need a lot of supplies, other than your protective gear, distilled water and Epsom salts. These supplies should cost you less than $20, which is much lower than what you would spend replacing the car battery. If you can get another year or two out of the batteries, then it would be considered a great investment.
